Women's Team

About the Rectora, Peggy Pugh

My Cursillo journey began in 1976 at St. Benedict’s Church for the Deaf in San Francisco. While the surroundings were a little on the primitive side with 58 women sleeping in beds on a gym floor, the experience was exhilarating and I wouldn’t have traded it for anything. Likewise, if you join us at our harbor of safety, Angela Center (much more than primitive), our crew will work to ensure that you, too, will experience the wondrous joy of His great love.   Together, we will gain growth and understanding of our faith; renewal in our Church; and the experience of a Christian Community, all in an atmosphere of welcoming thoughts and ideas on Christianity.

The Anchored in Faith Cursillo team has set its sails for the Spring Women’s Weekend, March 30 – April 2, 2017.  Preparations are under way with 31 women and men answering the call to bring the love of Christ to our participants. The team, with its love and enthusiasm in bringing the word of God to our new friends in Christ, is eager to share the Cursillo experience with others. In addition, this ecumenical voyage will be supported by the greater Cursillo community, clergy and lay people.
