2025 Weekend Dates and Themes
Men's Weekend
Date: October 23-26, 2025
The Theme: Stepping into Grace
Rector: Tom Gannon
I was humbled and honored to have been asked to be the Rector of the 2025 Men’s Weekend. Recently through the ups and downs of the events of the country and world affecting some our family and friends, I have been able to get through these events with the knowledge and belief that God’s grace will guide us through these days. For this reason, I selected Stepping into Grace as the theme for the upcoming men’s weekend and the theme song is Step by Step written by Rich Mullins who made Awesome God such a popular hymn in many of our churches.
I encourage you to prayerfully consider attending this year’s Men’s Weekend, on October 23 through 26 at the University of the Redlands campus in San Anselmo. We will share in God’s love and grace through prayer and fellowship and learn more about God’s presence in the world. During and after the weekend, we pray you will be able to identify and grow in the gift of grace that God continues to bestow on His people.
If you are not able to be with us during the weekend, please keep the participants, team members and supporters in your prayers that they will experience the depth and fullness of the opportunities for God’s grace and the fellowship of others during this weekend and beyond.
Women's Weekend
Date: October 9-12, 2025
The Theme: Counting My Blessings
Rectora: Tina Pult
I was very humbled to be asked to lead the Marin Cursillo Women’s Weekend in October 2025. Before accepting this huge honor, I prayed to God for guidance, grace and to listen to the message for the weekend. As I prayed, God placed upon my heart the idea of counting my blessings. Therefore, “Counting My Blessings” will be both the theme and the song for the weekend.
My hope for each person involved in the weekend is that the theme and song place each of us in a state of gratitude for all that God provides. I hope it becomes very personal for each candidate and team member alike. We have experienced triumphs and struggles in our lives and will continue to do so. I pray the experience from this weekend will help give us the tools to handle all that comes our way. Some blessings may not be obvious at the time but as you look back they become clearer. I am so grateful for the many blessings I have received from God, Cursillo definitely being one of them, and will continue to count my blessings as I live with gratitude each and every day of this life.
I would like to invite you to join us on this journey of “Counting My Blessings”.
